Food Application Center for Technology: for applied research, analytics and education
The Food Application Center for Technology is a modern, food grade facility at Van Hall Larenstein, Leeuwarden, providing pilot equipment and analytical devices for research and education. It combines education and research programs to provide innovation for its stakeholders and well trained staff. In this presentation the advantages of working together with these facilities will be highlighted and some examples of innovation projects will be presented in the domains of water, food and dairy.
About Dr. J. (Koos) Oosterhaven
Dr. J. (Koos) Oosterhaven is a biologist by training and has 15 years work experience at Wageningen University and Research (as PhD, department head and as a business unit manager) as well as 11 years with NIZO, a contract research company in Ede as business manager. Currently he works as managing director for the Water and Food Application Centre for Technology, at Van Hall Larenstein in Leeuwarden.
